ABOUT HALTON HIKERS

Our goal is to build a community for hikers in the Halton Region (and beyond) that focuses on raising awareness of Halton's many beautifully unique trails and the conservation efforts that protect them.

   Our Story

Halton Hikers began as a Facebook group in January 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic to help local hikers connect, share experiences, and discover new trails. Today, more than 7,000 members share the adventure, collectively hiking tens of thousands of kilometers and counting. You might even spot some of our members sporting Halton Hikers shirts along the trails!
